Leopold is an examination palpation techniques on a baby' s mother' s abdomen to determine the position and location of fetuses with abdominal palpation. Leopold palpation consists of four steps:
Leopold I: Leopold I aim to find out where the fundus uteri and other parts found in the fundus uteri
Leopold II: Leopold II aims to determine the back and a small section along the side of the maternal fetal
Leopold III Leopold III aims to distinguish the percentage of the fetus and have entered the door of the pelvis
Leopold IV: Leopold IV aims to ensure results are found on examination of Leopold III and to determine the extent to which the presentation has entered the pelvic Provides information about the presentation: buttocks or head, attitude / attitude ( flexion or extension) , and the station ( a decrease the presentation)
